Whether you’ve been in a house for a few days or a few years, chances are you’ve at one point or another been stumped by a big empty wall. I typically end up getting hung up on ALL OF THE POSSIBILITIES! But then getting easily overwhelmed by them, too. So I decided that I should make an internet-list of ideas for those giant canvases.
First up, the pallet wall in our living room:
Cape27 also used pallet wood, but with a more tailored look.
The Lilypad Cottage added some detail to her entryway.
The Handmade Home created a beautiful, large-scale piece of artwork for her office.
Unskinny Boppy created a GIANT star out of reclaimed wood.
Vintage Revivals went CRAY with an awesome hex wall in her Daughter’s room.
View Along the Way installed some girly wallpaper in her closet. (!)
Dear Beautiful You tacked some real lace up. And it’s amaaaazing.
Centsational Girl spiced up her bathroom with some Beadboard Wallpaper.
And one of my all-time favorite solutions, Olive and Love used old wooden shutters to create an incredible piece of art in their Dining Room.
So. What’s your favorite?
